Description
The best way to develop your youth basketball player in Chicago this Fall:Â Basketball Skills Training and 3v3!
Our environment is different because our standards are different. How? We hold our players accountable for the basics: Energy, Effort, and Enthusiasm. This is non-negotiable.
We hold the following standards for any player participating in any of our sessions with Athletes On The Rise:
- Do you best, always.
- Run in, run out.
- Eye contact when being spoken to, and give eye contact when speaking back.
- Listen well. Hear it 1x, see it 1x, then do your best.
- Communicate everything you do.
- Get outside your comfort zone! Find failure, it is where you learn.
- Support your teammates: high-fives, fist bumps, help off the floor, push them to go harder, encourage them during failure.
Our Basketball Skills Training and 3v3 hold your student-athlete accountable!
Becoming a better basketball player and a better leader is FUN, but it can be HARD! We are there to guide and support them!
This Fall, a typical format for a session would be as follows:
- 25 min fundamental skill development (things they can take home and work on!)
- 25 min offensive and defensive tactical development
- 40 min 3v3 applying skill development and tactical development
During gameplay, players are held accountable to apply what they learned in the day’s session!
These Basketball Skills Training and 3v3 sessions are run by Coach Erick Vigansky!
