Dates, Times, & Location:

  • Dates: Tues & Thurs from July 9 thru Aug 15
    • Month 1: July 9 & 11, 16 & 18, 23 & 25 (6 days, up to 6 hours of training/month)
    • Month 2: July 30 & Aug 1, Aug 6 & 8, 13 & 15 (6 days, up to 6 hours of training/month)
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays from July 9th August 15th
    • Beginner/Intermediate Group (typically rising 6th through 9th graders) – Fundamentals
    • Intermediate/Advanced Group (typically rising HS JV and above) –  Playmaking, Reads, & Reactions
  • Time: 7-8p
  • Location: St. Philip’s Lutheran School, 2500 W Bryn Mawr
  • Total Cost:
    • SILVER SUBSCRIPTION: $120/month for 3 hrs/month, 1 hr per week (~$40/1 hour session)
    • GOLD SUBSCRIPTION: $210/month for 6 hrs/month, 1 hr per week ($35/1 hour session)

SPOTS ARE LIMITED TO 12 ATHLETES PER GROUP ENSURE TRAINING QUALITY FOR EACH ATHLETE! 

There are two 3-week sessions (Month 1 & Month 2).  After your registration, the camp will automatically renew for the second 3-week session.  You will not need to re-register!

The Best Basketball Skills Training Academy to Level Up your Game this Summer!

Basketball skills training for any level from beginner to advanced!

This Summer, we are happy to announce that we will have two separate academies running simultaneously.

From July 9th thru August 15th, Mondays and Thursdays from 7-8p, we will have both our beginner thru intermediate academy (rising 6th-9th grade) and our intermediate/advanced academy (rising High School JV and above) starting up!

Beginner/Intermediate Basketball Skills Training:

  • Ballhandling – Develop, Refine & Learn to Apply the Following:
    • Change of Direction footwork: Cross Step, Open Step, Slide Step, Jab Step
    • Stop & Go Footwork: Side Stop, Lunge Stop
    • Change of Speed in Full Court & Half Court Situations
    • Attacking in Straight Lines
  • Shooting – Develop Competency & 70% Consistency in the following:
    • Shooting Form (ensure balance, follow thru, and no hitches)
    • Stationary Catch & Shoot
    • Shooting on the Move
    • 1  Dribble Pullup
  • Finishing – Develop, Refine & Learn to Apply the Following:
    • R & L Hand finishing off 1 or 2 feet
    • Basic Ball Protection
    • Finishing with Contact & Avoiding Contact
    • Basic Jump Stop Series
    • Basic Post Up Moves
  • Defense – 1v1 Defensive Abilities in the Full Court and Half Court
    • Ability to apply pressure to offensive players
    • Learning to Wall Up to keep player out of the paint
    • Learning to Take a Charge
    • Learning to either change a player’s direction or keep a player going one specific direction
    • Finishing defensive possessions with boxouts

  • Learn different defensive coverages for screens, off and on ball, including the following:
    • On Ball:
      • Blowing Up Screens
      • Tagging / Going Over

      • Trapping (on ball only)
      • Hard Hedge
      • Flat Hedge
      • Pushing Out
      • Drop Coverage
  • Learn different offensive counters to defensive coverages, including:
    • Ghost Cuts

  • Apply the different defensive coverages and offensive counters in the following situations:
