Advance your skills & mentality to the next level during this Winter Basketball Skills Academy.  Open to 7th & 8th grade basketball players (younger advanced players are accepted upon request).

This Winter 2020 Skills Academy will:

  • Assess each player’s abilities & help them set goals
  • Develop confidence and the ability to dribble, pass & shoot
  • Push players outside their comfort zones with hard work & high attention to detail
  • Create an understanding of what needs to be done to compete at the next levels

Players must have a basic ability to dribble, pass & shoot.

Dates/Times:
February Dates: 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
March Dates: 7th, 14th

All sessions run from 815-930 am in Kenosha.  Exact location given upon purchase in the automated receipt.

Film Study is for any athlete that wants to improve themselves technically and tactically by breaking down film of themselves, their team, or their opponent. Typically, film study is for athletes 12+ years old through professional.

Mental training is a foundational piece for all of the AOTR training; with the proper mentality, just about anything can be accomplished.  Mental training is woven throughout the Skill and Physical training, however there are many times this needs to be a focal point in itself.  Many times, athletes need to be taught how to set and accomplish goals, work hard and smart, prepare and focus in before and during training/competition, recover after making mistakes, reflect after training/competition is finished, create a championship mentality, and avoid burnout.


$100.00 / month and a $65.00 sign-up fee

Nutrition plays a major in an athlete’s ability to develop, perform and recover.  Nutrition can be the difference maker in accomplishing weight gain/loss and body composition goals.  A proper plan will also improve energy levels and recovery ability to keep athletes healthy and performing at their highest levels.

AOTR Nutrition Coaching features:

  • Assessment of the athlete’s current diet
  • Sports Nutrition plans for training, competition and recovery based on the athlete’s goals
  • Nutritional advice for the progressive dietary changes needed to prepare, perform, and recover at the highest level

This package will include a 1 hour diet assessment & goals setting interview, a food journal for the athlete to log and food journal analysis, a 1 hour Sports Nutrition planning session, and 3 30 minute follow up sessions to track progress and adjust the program as necessary.

  • 1.5 hrs/month of conversation via Skype/WhatsApp for program review and adjustments

  • 2-1 hr sessions/month featuring consistent feedback and correction for different basketball skills
  • Assessments to determine the technical skill needs, wants, strengths, and weaknesses.

  • Sport Specific Assessments and Weekly Programs
  • Goal setting with progressive training individualized to each athlete
  • 2 1-hr training sessions per month that will progress your program appropriately
  • Development that athletes will see and feel in training and competition

This 1-hr Training Session for 2 Athletes will include:

  • Assessments and video analysis to set an athlete’s baseline
  • Progressive, structured development that will get the athletes outside their comfort zone to ensure optimal learning
  • Drills and training schedules for the athletes to takeaway so they can continue to improve after session completion

Training can take place In-Person or Online via a Mobile Device.
